SHOOTING ACCIDENT.

BOY KILLED BY HIS BROTHER. Albert George JTenkins, 7 years of age, ison of Mr Frederick Jenkins, who is employod and lives on Mr 0. Skevington's farm at Waikuku, was accidentally shot dead by his brothor James, 15 years of age, about. 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. James was standing at tho back "door with a single-barrelled gun intending to shoot sparrows. In turning round the trigger caught in a button on his jacket and tho gun went off, the contents striking tho little boy, who was standing about five feet away, in the face, death being instantaneous. An inquest will be held to-day.
