German prisoner labour, which the British Board of Agriculture are strongly advocating to _ replace the young labourers now being called up for military service, does not find favour with all farmers. One snch, offered a substitute for bis cowman at a recent tribunal, remarked: CI I hope you be'ant Coin' to sendee none of them Germans, because Pd rather give up mo farm and ..go an' fight 'em."
