"PADDY'S MARKET." A "Paddy's Market," organised by the Lvttelton. Jyadies* Guild, in connexion with "Sailors' Day"—an offort to raise funds in aid of sailors from torpedoed vessels—wis held in Norwich quay, Lyttelton, yesterday. Tlw> market, which comprised a' number of stalls, at which vegetable, fruit, sweets, clothing, and miscellaneous commodities were offered for sale, commenced business at 9 a.m., members of the Ladies' Guild itnd others acting as saleswomen. The market was liberallyy patronised, and everything was sold out at 4.30 p.m. The proceeds totalled over £IG3. THE ANNIE HILL. Tho schooner Annie Hill, which, lias been on the slip nt Lvttelton lor a consirierable time undergoing extensive alterations, will probably bo taken oil tho slip on Monday, and berthed at the No. 7 breastwork, where sho will have her spars re-fitted in preparation for putting to eea. The • bulwarks around Hie poop deck have now been renewed. The vessel will probably be ready to sail at about the end of next month.
