ANAMA PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE
The nunu.nl meeiirtg of tlie Anania Patriotic Committee was held on Thursday evening, when'-Mr W. Bennett presided. The secretary siibmitted a report and balance-sheet, which were consiaered veiy satisfactory. It was decidcd to present framed addresses to relatives of fallen soldiers connected with the district. The Rev. !•. 1 • Kellow gave an address, ana presented, on behalf of tho district, framed addresses to the relatives of the '^ te Lance-Corporal L. J. Greenslaae, Trooper Angus Gillies, and Rifleman John Cameron. The election of omcers resulted as follows: President, Mr yBennett: vice-presidents, Messrs O'Callaghan, and G. Harrison : secretary and treasurer, Mr i>. OX'allaghan ; committee, Mesdames E. "Watson , anu G Harrison, Miss Greenslade, and M' J.' T. Williams. A vote of thanks wapassed to the outgoing committee. Refreshments were handed round by tin ladies.
