Ja-mes C illicit (Coalgate) and Nathaniel Thompson (Southbridge), having been medically classified C-. their appeals were adjourned sine die. For tho 6amo reason the appeal of Robert Erwin on behalf of Barret Browning (Ross) was aajourned eine die. ADJOURNED. The casea of Rob=r: Bruce Pel v in, Annat, and Georpro Fowler, Aylesbury, were adjourned till June. TIME GRANTED. Time was grunted in the following cafes: — Till May—F, G. S. Chapman, Lincoln; Hugh Douglas. Hororata ; Stanley (J roves. Sheffield; Arthur Walter McJarrow. Till June—Arthur Miln Kidd, Dallington: Malcolm Jolmson, farmer, Kirwee. The appeal of Jeremiah llogan, Dovleston (M!r Donuelly) was dismissed, and lie was allowed time til! the June draft. Robert Ilenson appealed on behal: o' Augustus Trivet t Hamilton. It v.:,? staged that Hamilton had volunteered, pone into camp. lx;en rejected, and married, and then tailed up in a. ballot. He wa.s (.'ranted time till July. PREHEARINGS. John Lawson Baird. formerly a coal miner at Burnett's Face, had his appeal, which was previously struck out owing to appellant noi, appearing-, reheard. After hearing appellant's statement, the Boaid decided that, as appellant was not now employed in au essential industry, he would be recommended for the May draft. Rut-B?ll P. O'Shaugnessey, Halswell (Mr Caesidy), who was called up in the first ballot, was. after bw fitateinesrt had been heard, told that ho would have to servo. He was allowed reasonable time to do some necessary work on hi.s farm. A PLEASING REQUEST. John Haigh Jebson (Sheffield) applied for his appeal to be dismissed, in order that lie mijrht go into camp. His request, was acceded to. REFERRED TO EFFICIENCY BOARD. Patrick Henry McCJratb, farmer, Kaiapoi (Mr Hoban) had his caso referred to the Efficiency Board. UNDER AGE. Ch.uleß Eracowell (Haiimer Springs), being under, military age, his appeal was allowed.
