4 At the monthly meeting of the Lc Bon's Bay Rosd Board, attended by llcssrs AV. G. Palg-leish (chairman). F. C. Aldridge, A. A. Macphail, and Tlios. ilclntoch. it was rc- • ported that the Okair.'s Board was unwilling !o disclose the names of those pcrsoc3 wh:j had been cutting firewood on the Boundary road, but wished to draw retention to the way in which tbr- timber *-v.--3 disappeariccr. The Board decided to call public tenders for all the firewood, ia lots, from Laverick'2 Sato to the ton of the road, and to notify that , anyone removing any timber without ner- | mission be prosecuted. As 110 tenders had been received for Dawber's bridfre, it was rosolved to re-deck the bridge with jsrrah planks. Votes of sympathy worc-passed v.-ith the families of Messrs AV. I-'. McCullough and Thos. Marsh, of Stratford and Inglcwood respectively, whoso ektefet sons had died on ■tieiievue Eidge.
