LONDON. May 31. The "Daily Chronicle" says that Mr Winston Churchill recently visited the West front, and is now in Paris, a guest of .the French milijtary authorities. Owing to the dissatisfaction in industrial circles at the scarcity and the ; high price of beer, the Government ■ will presently sanction an increased output of a reduccd specific gravity. The first prosecution for ncn-cultiva-tion of land resulted in a farmer being fined £15 for disobeying orders as to bow his land should bo utilised. Tho first prosecution for food hoarding was against a Liverpool merchant.
