BOWLING.
RANGIORA CLUB. A meeting of th© general committee of the Rangiora Bowling, Tennis a.i>d Croquet Club was hold last evening. Mr W. ESord. junr., occupied the chair. Two resignations were accepted. Tile treasurer submitted an approximate balance-sheet for the year, which showed the funds to be in a very eoun.i position. The Grounds' Committee reported that th© bowling green, lawn, and tennis courts were in a satisfactory condition. A liearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr Stalker for his gift of soil for top dressing purposes. It km decided lijp-t all surplus funds be devoted to patriotic purpo -os. This being the last meeting of the committee before tho annual meeting, the president thanked members for the way in which they bad supported him during the past seaeon.
