A fully at tended meeting of the Sheffield Patriotic Committee, presided over by Mr tt\ ,f. .Jenkins, was held iiv the Itoad Board office on Thursday. Correspondence was received from Privates It. The secretary was instructed to thank Mr Raphael and his party for their concert, and atao Mr Dvsart,- of Kiiwee, for 60 kindly providing a sewing machine for Red Cross work. Mr TV. It was announced that Miss Freeman, of Christchnrch. would give an address on Red Cross work in tli; Road Board office, Sheffield, to-morrow. It was proposed that an autograph quilt be made for presentation to the Hospital for Now Xoalanders in London.
