. » Mr T. D. Boag's name v.as inadvertently omitted from the list of elected members of the committee, of the Canterbury A. and P. Association. The Horr. J. T. Paui is being asked 'by petition to stand for. the Mayoralty of Dunedin, against the present Mayor (Mr J. J. Clark), and Cr. Green. Captain J. B. Callan,. a well-known Dunedin barrister, of the Fourth' Regiment, will leave for camp &t the beginning of next month. Among the Homeward passengers by the Rotorua, who happily had been landed at Plymouth before the steamer was torpedoed, were Mrs John Anderson and "her daughter, Miss M. Maude and her niece, Mrs Geoffrey Mulgan, of Auckland (a daughter of Mr Geo. McIntvre. of Christchurch). Mrs Raymond Hepworth, and Mrs Wheeler (wife of Captain Wheeler, area officer at Itangiora, who has rejoined his regiment at tho front, and daughter of Mr T. G. Russell,, of Christchurch). I | !
