Be.tee Government Meteorologist, supplied tho following weather erummary and forecast at 5 p.m. yesrterday:— The oentre of an atmospheric dicturbauco passed in the vicinity of Cook Strait during Saturday night, was responsible for con-sidorab-o rain in and southward of Cook Strait. Cloudy and unsettled leather has prevailed generally, and strong northerly winds have given place to eoutherlies Eance Sunday. Present indications are for cold nnd changeable weather, with passing showers, particu-f-arly in tile Northern and East Coast districts. The barometer lifts a rising, tendency, and moderate to strong south-easterly winds are likely to prevail.
