IVY OF LIXTVOOD LODGE
The naif-yearly eummoned meeting of the Ivy of. Linwood Lodge, No. 13, U.A.0.D., was held in tho Orange Hail, A.l;. jjto! Chambers presiding. Forty-two nominations wero received for the- respective offices. Sick pay totalling £ti 12s 4d was passed for payment. It was resolved that the following resolution be forwarded to tko Grand Lodge: — "That tho effico of District President bo dispensed with, and that a deputy bo appointed for each Lodge." PIONEER LODGE. At the half-yearly meeting of ti'e Pioneer Lodge, No. 1. U.A.0.D.. A.I). Bro. J J. Holmes presided. The bards reported ten members under their care, and the sum of £9 ■was passed for sick pav. Correspondencewas received from Dr. \\". Thomas, resigning his posiStm as medical officer of the Lodge, which was accepted with deep regret. Thesecretary was instructed to write and thank him for his valuable services -to Ihe Lodge for so many years. It was decided to appoint Jus eon, Dr. J. K. Thomas, to fill the position.
