(Before Messrs S. Bullock and W. S. Seed. J.P.'s.) DRUNKENNESS. Isabella Jolly, a second offender, was fined 10s, or 48 hours' imprisonment. THEFT. Dorothy Cant pleaded guilty to the theft of a fur necklet, three blouses, a piece of silk, a hair-comb, and a small go'.cl ring, of a total value of £2, the property of Sarah Williamson, by whom she was employed as a general servant. The Salvation Army authorities being willing to take her, she was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called on, provided that she remained in the Salvation Army Home for six months. BY-LAW BREACH. William Price, charged with motoring over a crossing at an excessive rate of speed, was fined 40s and costs.
