A telegram from the British Legation at Athens states that two Greek lied Cross nurses, after tending a wounded Legation porter all day long, were subsequently arrested and dragged before tho head of tho police land shut up fi>r 30 hours without food or water in a filthy latrine, suffering continuous attempts at raping them. Their house was looted. They havo now been released, and state that the police headquarters arc filled with Vcnizelists. Some have been battered to death. Some have had their eyes gouged out. The late head of tho secret police was tied to a post and beaten on tho head with a club by an Orthodox Greek priest. A PLEA FOII ACTION. i LONDON, December 6. M. Venizelos in messages to friends in Loudon urges the Allies to act immediately, in what he describes as a perilous situation.
