SPRETDON. The fortnightly meeting of the Spreydcm Borough Council" wae held last night. PtcThe Mayor (Mr "W. *t. "Winsor), • Cre. "W J Elliott. E. Haye. A. Manhire. E. O'Rouike. G. H. Rudd, B. H. Taylor, and D. Williamson. The Finance Committee reported that the receipt for the fortnight had been £133 13s sd. The bank balances •were as follows: — Loan interest account cr. 13s lOd, pit account cr. £131 12s Sd, electric light account cr. £'303 €s Id, temporary loans account dr. £2690, general account dr. £233 13s 3d. The treasurer reported that the Council had received £500 from tho Chriotchurch Tramway Board on account al the temporary loan of £1000.
