It is officially stated that snowfalls and torrential rains are hindering artillery operations. Tlie Italians straightened their front between Monte Fiti and CJastagnivizza, advancing 900 yards, and capturing two 6-inch guns and abundant stores and ammunition. AN EARLIE3I MESSAGE. LONDON, November 10. An Italian communique estates: "We advanced and straightened out our lino in tic northern sector of the Careo." HEAVY ENEMY LOSSES. THE STRAIN ON PRODUCTION. The "Messagero" estimates the Austrian losses in the Car&o at nearly 60 per cent, of the effectives engaged in the contest. The battle revealed* that the Austrians no longer have a limitless quantity of munitions. Prisoners state that niany batteries ceased fire owing to the lack of shells. The increasing activity on all fronts involves the expenditure of munitions and guns at a far greater rate than Germany and Austria arc capable of producing them. Bulgaria and Turkey are producing nothing.
