Cab!« Association.) ißeuter'a Telegram*.) LONDON, November 11. A German communique says?— "Several fortified Roumanian lines were stormed between Predenl and Sinaia." ' THE CRISIS OVER. ENEMY SAFELY HELD. (Australian and .n.Z. Association.) (Received November 12th, 0.0 p.m.) I.ONDON. Novomber 11. The •'Daily Telegraph's" Milan correspondent suites that General von Falkenhayn's latest despatch proven that tho Roumanians are making a more successful resistance than the Germans expected. The battle now rages .along the entire length of the Transylvanian Alps, and there is stubborn fighting daily in every road. path, and pass, and desperate engagements in every mountain and valley. Thr; weather has improved, and thero are warm days but cold, foggy nights, which cause more discomfort and suffering to the Germans than to the Roumanians. Tho net result- of the Roumanians' bold defence southward of tho mouth of the Predeal Pass has boon General von Fnlkenhayn's complete failure to advance the coveted march towards Sinaia. General von Falkenhayn, however, claims repeated victories, but the ; Roumanians have disputed "every inch of the ground, and now bold permanent defensive positions at Azuga. Tho Roumanian resistance is becoming firmer every day, and is gradually destroying tho enemy's hope of forcing a passage. General von Falkenhayn's attempt on the Alt Passes further north has definitely failed. Frequent successful Roumanian counter-attacks bavo compelled the enemy to hurry reinforcements to the monncodi point. Tho indications ajrei that the crisis has passed, and that the tide, is turning in tho Romanians' favour.
