A REBELLION SUPPRESSED

(Received October 17th, 8.15 p.m.) THE HAGUE, October 17.
It is officially stated that two thousand rebels attacked Soeroelapeon, in the Palambanf district in Sumatra, but were dispersed, losing thirty-eight in killed. The Indian quarter of the village was partly burnt and the remainder pillaged.
