(Received October 16th, 8.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 16. In the treason case the accused pleaded "not guilty," and were committed for trial. Bail was refused.
SUSPICIOUS FIRES. SYDNEY, October 16. Fires have been disoovered in several placcs. Wheat stacks at Lockhart have been burnt. A quantity of cotton-waste was found, and later a member of the I.W.'W. was arrested.
