Fairburn. Publicans' Licenses. —Applications for a publican's granted to each of the following: James Iteid, Canterbury Hotel, Lyttelton; Alexander Boswell Mitchcll, British Hotel, Lyttelton; David Stevens, Marine Hotel, Sumner; Henry James Pot ten. Wharf Hotel, Woolston.

Accommodation Licensc. —An application'lor an accommodation licensc was granted to Thomas Fairburn, Wheatsheaf Hotel, Tcddington. • Renewals.—The following renewals were granted: Edmund Hill, Empire Hotel, "Lyttelton;-Thomas Patrick Coffey, Cave Rock Hotel, .Sumner; Joseph Round, Heathcote Valley Hotel, Heathcote ; George Martin Ryan. Lyttelton Hotel, Lyttelton; Mary Ross, Mitre Hotel. Lyttelton; Alfred John R. Ishcrwood. Ocean View Hotel, Governor's Bay; Samuel Brooking, Saxon Hotel. Lyttelton. An application from Jack Douglas McGregor, Heathcote Arms Hotel, Heathcote, was adjourned for three months, to enable a more satisfactory water supplv to be installed. Iu the case of a renewal of the licensc of the Royal Hotel, Lyttelton. which is being rebuilt. Air Hunt, for the licensee. Peter Carmichacl, stated that the new house-would probably be ready for occupation in about tour months' time. The urauting of the •application was adjourned for three mouths, permission being given to continue in the temporary premises. An application for a renewal of the license of the Albion Hotel. Lyttelton, to Albert Edward Bragg, was held over for a fortnight A wholesale license was granted to Forbes and Co.
