Corporal A. J. Scamer, writing from the Military Hospital at Dunedin to Mr Joseph Piper, of Petone, states that since his return from tgypt lie has undergone an operation owing to having been injured by a fall while travelling from New Zealand to Egypt as a member iof the Dominion's Forces. He is now making a good recovery. Corporal Seamer, who is a Methodist minister, and was formerly in charge of the church at Petone, is anxious to go to the front in France. He has been asked to become 3lethodist Chaplain at Trentham Camp, but has not yet decided whether 110 shall accept the offer.
