Bohan, and N. llill- The la-dicc, provided supper, and the music for thu dance wae supplied by Mr J. W, A. Walker. The workers of the Southbridge Red Cross Branch have responded very well to the constant appeals from the Central Depot to help in the work of providing nccessarits and comforts for the wounded soldiers,* as the following list of work turned out during the last month proves: —1747 rolled bandages, 1350 swibs, 37 suits pyjamas, 26 day shirts, 9' night shirt?. 20 vesta. 23 pairs underpants, 19 pairs socks, 11 diet cloths, 3 balaclavas, 7 hot-water hoi'le covers. 5 body belts, 9 rest cushions. 33 dusters, 32 jug covers. 26 face cloths. 1 waistcoat, 1 s-jldier's bag, 2 parcels old linen, :> pack of woollen cuttings, a bag of cotton waste, and a bag of cotton cuttings. A great many cash donations were received.
