THE WITTENBURG HORRORS/ BRITISH REPORT "NOT EXACT." (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) , (Received April lGth, 5.5 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, April 15. A semi-official statement issued in' Berlin says:—"The English report regarding Wittenburg Camp is not exact. It is a repetition of the former charges which were refuted when the American doctors who were consulted expressed satisfaction with the hygienic conditions of the camp. FOOD SUPPLIES. FEELING THE PINCH. ("Timee" and "Sydney Sun" Service*.) LONDON, April 14. The "Vorwarts" declares that Germany's food 6Upply is so inadequate that the people's standard of 'nourishment is generally lowered. Despite the greatly increased internal production, Germany, more and relies upon foreign supplies, and her weakening resources intensify the situation.
DB. LIEBKNECHT ATTACKED. ASSAILANT ARRESTED. l (Received April 16th, 5.5 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, April 15. A woman fired two shots at Dr. LiebI knecht in a street in Berlin. The shots 3 missed their mark. The woman was > arrested. • " OYER FASHIONABLE." A LADY'S ARREST. . LONDON, April 14. The police in Munich (Bavaria) arrested an aristocratic lady, who was detained for several hours on a charge that she was "over-fashionably. dressed." ' | =
