Bates, Government Meteorologist, supplied the following weather report at t P.m. yesterday: — Warm and fair to cloudy weather has predominated, with local showers. The winds have been variable, and generally moderate. The barometer has had a rising tendency in the South. There aro signs of a storm developing northward of the Dominion. Present indications are for east to southeasterly winds, increasing strong to gale northward of East Capo and Kawhia, and freshening east to southerly winds elsewhere, the weather clouding over and rain following generally heavy in the North, where the barometer is likely soon to fall considerably.
