'A proclamation notifies that heavy penalties, with a limit _of £500 or a year's will be imposed for failing to return the war census cards. MILITARY ECONOMY. OFFICIAL JOURNAL SUSPENDED. MELBOURNE, February 11. The "Commonwealth Military Journal" has been suspended .during the war for economical reasons, the theory being that it is unnecessary while the forces are engaged in the "real thing."
