(ritxss ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, January 12. - At its last meeting" the War Pensions Board granted to members 10 pensions and 22 allowances, three applications being declined, and five adjourned.; to dependents 29 pensions and one allowance, four being declined Mid one adjourned, making a total of 39 pensions and 23 alio wanes granted. Seven applications were declined. and six adjourned. Up to date 444 pensions, representing an annual value of £20,277, have'been granted. 1 Of these, 63 were granted to soldiers, 93 to wives (including children), and 288 to other dependents. The average pensions are as follows :— £ Soldiers ... ... ... 56 Wives (including children) ... 88 Other dependents ... ... 29 Eighty-eight allowances have been granted to date, representing £2193 15s.
