(Received December l.'Uh. 1.10 a.m.) PETROGRAD, December 12. A communique say> : — "Three Russian destroyers sank two Turkish gunl>oats near the Bosphorus. There were no Russian losios." NEW ZE A LANDERS ENGAGED. REPORTED SUCCESS AT KRITHIA. LONDON. December 11. The Athens correspondent of the "Daily News" says the New Zealanders on Friday repulsed a Turkish attack at lvrithia. GERMAN PREPARATIONS REPORTED. TROOPS AM) BIG GUNS ARRIVING. (Received Docomber 12th. oo p.m.) ATHENS. December 11. Marshal voii Mackenscn has arrived at Constantinople with two Bavarian infantry regiments and several batteries of artillery. He has also brought with him German police, who will assist, tho Turks in suppressing antiGerman demonstrations. VIENNA, December 11. A number of Austro-Hungarian 21ccntimetre and 30-centimetre motor howitzers, which were employed with such success at Liege and Antwerp and in the Carpathians, have Gallipoli Peninsula. TURIN, December 11. Tho Salonica correspondent of "La Stampa" says a powerful concentration of German troops makes an offensive on Gallipoli Peninsula probable. A large number of submarines in sections from Germany have passed through Bulgaria on a special train lor Turkey. ROME, December 10. Advices from Salonica state that important activities havo been resumed on Gallipoli Peninsula. The sections of many German submarines arc said to be passing through Bulgaria towards Turkey.
