FIRES.
OUTBREAK IN RINK GARAGE. At about S p.m. yesterday one of tho rafters in the Rink Garage was noticed to bo on lire, and a cail was immediately sent into the Chief Eire Station. In the meantime sonic of the employees of the garage got to work with a small chemical extinguisher, and bv the time tho brigade arrived the tire was practically extinguished. The fire rmifit have originated from a spark from the chimney of a small copper boiler (used for producing hot water by tho burning of rubbish), which is about flush with the roof. No damage was done by the fire.
