A RECRUITING INCIDENT.
VALUABLE LIFE RISKED UNNECESSARILY. (."_._-«" a_d "Sydiw-y Sun" S«rrtc«.i LONDON. July 22. Sergeant Fuller, V.C.. whilst engaged on recruiting work, was challenged to enter a lion's don at AYombwoll's menagerie, Fishguard. Ho doffed his cap, and amid tho tense silence of the audience, ontcrod a cage containing two large lions, and stroked their heads. On emerging, he urged the young men present to enlist, and somo responded to his call.
