ADMIRALTY WEEKLY STATEMENT.
NO BRITISH SHIPS SUNK.

The High Commissioner reports :—■ LONDON, July 23 (2.25 a.m.) No British merchant ship or fishing boat was sunk by the enemy's submarines during the week ending AN ednesday, July 21st. Tlie total number of arrivals at aud sailings from United Kingdom oorte during that period of steamships over 300 tons gross register, was 1328. A Press Association message from London gives the Admiralty statement as above, and adds that the week ending July 21st was the first week during which no British ship was "submarined" since the "blockade" commenced. Two Russian cargo steamers, the Balva, 1165 tons, and General lUdetzky, 2118 tons, were tho only submarine victims during that period.
