An application wae received to alloTT the annual match between Banks and Aiic.tioncere to ho played at Lancaster Park. Boye' High School Club wrote aakang for a prant from the gate on the occasion of th« annual match between Christchurch Boye' High School and Waitaki High School at Lancaster Park on Saturday, July 31st. It vrae decided to make a grant, and to make a charge of Iβ for admission, 50 per cent, of the takings to go to th© Lancaster Park Preservation. Fund, ail schoolboys to be, however, admitted at a charge of 3d. The Mariste Chib wrote applying to hare the junior match bctwoen Lyttelton and Mariste set down to be played at Lyttelton ■next Saturday, played at Lancaster Park instead, on accooat ol the ground at Lyttelton liot being in a fit state for euch an important fixture. Regret was expreseod that the Yequeet could not he acceded to. TO-MORROWS GAMES. The Canterbury Rugby Football Union's competitions will be advanced a further stage to-morrow , at Lancaster Park, tvhen the following eenior matches will he played:—H.S. Old. Boye v. Maxiete, Sydenham v. Lirrwood, MefivaJo v. Albion. All three games should prove exciting and interesting. The following fifth gtade matches will be played at the Pa-rk. commencing at 1.30 p.m..—Lyttelton. ■». Teohnical, Nocrtihern v. TelegraphBoys' High School second fifteen deieated Christ's College second fifteen by 17 points to 3. For the School Carrick (2) and Francia scored tries, and Woods kicked two penalty goal© and converted a try. College kicked a penalty goal. Boye' High School third fifteen defeated Christ's College third fifteen by 7 points to 3. For the School Parker (scored, and Stringer dropped a jjo*l. Robinson Aoored for College. Boys' High School fourth fifteen defeated Christ's College fourth fifteen by 8 points to 6. For the School HillaTy and Willoughby scored, and Smith converted ono. Cowliflha'w scored for College.
