Private Arthur Joseph Willis, killed in action at the Dardanelles on May 2nd was the seventh son of Mrs Willis, of 12 Halkett street, Christchurch, He was born and educated in Christchurch, but was in Australia when the war broke out. and went with tho First Australian Division, beinc in the gun section of tho 3rd Battalion.
