Bishop drew the attention of the Council to a public danger that was said tp exist on Clarence road At a recent inquest evidence was given that tho portion of the road where it narrows abruptly ivas a danger spot Iho Council agreed with the Magistrate s remarks, and reference was made to the proposal to widen Clarence road, the Mayor remarking that Mr Bishop's remarks might have an influence on the ratepayers when the Joan poll came before them.
