ST. ALBANS.
Mr E. H. Andrews presided. The attendancce numbered about thirty. The annual report stated that the health of the scholars generally was good, notwithstanding that there were several cases of scarlatina, all of which were isolated as soon as discovered. The number on the roll in 1914 was 703, with an average attendance of 672. For the first quarter of 1915 the numbers were 7G4 and 711. Seven hoys gained free places at the scholarship examinations in November. The inspectors reported most favourably on the work done in the school. The following committee were elected: —Messrs E H. Andrews, J. W. Bonniand, 0 L. Bowen, F. Cole, S. Faulkner. A. H. Hobbs, J. MacFarlane, A. Rvdor, and Mrs F. Stewart. On the motion of Mr A. D. Hassall, seconded hv Mr J. D. Colville, it was resolved that it be an instruction to the incoming committee to place before the Board the urprent necessity for the oration of new school buildings at St. Albans.
