March 27th, 12.43 a.m.) PETROGRAD, Mai-h 26. The Russians have crossed the frontier, and are now in clctfo touch with the enemy beyond Jurburg. In the last sortie from Pnemysl three Slav regiments were sent ahead, followed by four Hungarian regiment.. On meeting the Russians' lire tho Slavs turned.back, whereupon the Hungarians fired upon them. The outskirts of Przemysl were converted into a vast cemetery containing tho graves of over forty thousand people who were killed or who died during the siege. The 'sanitaiy conditions of tbo town are unspeakable.
