THE ROLL OF HONOUR.
DEATH OF LIEUT. K. SINCLAIR- | THOMSON. News has been received of the death in action in the Persian Gulf of Lieut. Kenneth Sinclair-Thomson, a New Zcalander. The late Lieut. Kenneth SinclairThomson was the eldest son of Mr and Mrs John Sinclair-Thomson, of "The Crossing," Geraldine. Ho was 26 years of age, and was bora, at Dunedin. lie was educated at the Wanganui College, and then went to St. John's College, Cambridge, where ho took his degree in Medicine. He was very keen on soldiering, however, and on leaving the University he. entered he entered tho Army and obtained a commission in the Bengal Cavalry. It was only quite recently that his parents received news from him that his regiment had been ordered away on active service iv Persia, and he had probably only, been in tho fighting area a few days -when ho was killed. Mr Sinclair-Thomson, senr., has two other sons, ono in the Navy, who has been serving in a destroyer since the war started, and the other in the Army, tho latter having recently obtained a commission in the Argyleand Sutherland Highlanders.
