(Before Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S.M.) Sydney Howard, for failing to attend parades, was fined 10s. Patrick Stark, for rescuing cattle which had been seized for impounding by the borough ranger, was fined 20s and casts, 19s. B. A. Knight (Mr Cassidy) was charged by .J. H. Baird (Mr Oresion) with two breaches of his prohibition order. ■ . A conviction was entered on ono charge, and defendant was declared an habitual drunkard and commuted to the Roto Roa Inebriates' Home for two years. R. Wylie proceeded against J. J. Cameron to recover £v lf>s Id. Jndgment was given for plaintiff for the amount claimed and costs, Bs.
