CUST STOCK SALE.
There was an entry of about 4000 fats at the first of the season's fat lamb sales, held yesterday. Buyers were well represented, and business wal brisk throughout. The quality of the lambs was good, the top price being 23s lid. Tho following were the range of prices:—Lambs—Extra prime. 23s 4d to 23s lid; prime. ISs 9d to 21s 10d : others, 16s 2d to 18s Sd. "WethersPrime. 20s 9d up to 2a? 6d; others. l"s to 19s Gd. Ewes —Prime. 17s Id to 20s Id; others, 16s Id to 17s. The principal sales were:—Lambb—On account M. Fitzgibbon, 7 at 23s lid; J.
