GOVERNMENT'S ACTION TO STAND.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) "WELLINGTON, January 11. Regarding the cost of living, Mr Massoy'told a "Post" reporter that the action already taken by the Government would stand" until the new crop of wheat comes in. Then he hoped it would bo possible to remove the restrictions and allow the rule of supply and demand to onerate. ''In the meantime," he added, "wo are keeping a watchful eye on whatever transactions take place, so as to prevent any exploitation of the public."
