MILITARY BASE HOSPITAL FOR NEW ZEALAND.
The Council of tho New Zealand Branch of the. Br.'ti-h Medical Association have decided to make an appeal to tho public for the equipment of a hospital tor tho troops at Trentharu. "Wo have already published letters from Dr. O'Brien and Dr. Elliott, chairman of tho Council, statins the grounds on which the appeal is based. Wo are now asked to stato that subscriptions for this work should Ik; sent to Dr. Manning. Christolwrch. the local lson. treasurer of the Now Zealand Branch of tho British Medical Association, and by him will bo acknowledged through the Pres« and transmitted to tho trenoral treasurer in Wcliin&ton to swell tho Patriotic Fund, though car-marked for this -special purpose.
