TATTERSALL'S HORSE BAZAAR
Messrs H. -Matson and Co. had an entry of 53 horses on Saturday. The Tcrv heavy rain kept - a considerable number of "farmers at home, but nevertheless young farm horses were enquired for, and more sales of this class could havo been made had they been forward. When harvesting commences it is very probable that- draught horses will show an appreciable rise in values compared to rates now ruling. Among _omo of the sales made on Saturday werc :__Account clients, eight-year-old draught gelding. £23, and aged geldings, £20. £13, and £16; account J. Boecroft. aged harness mar© £11 10s; account J. M. Thompson, aged draught golding £13 os; account A. "Wiggins, aged draught gelding £14 10s: account client, aged draught gelding £L" 10s. Th© usual collection of old harness horses met with a varying demand, prices remaining at about late rates.
