An -official statement says:-—"Eight*■ ing on the Hukh'a-Maghidev front, on the left bank of the. Vistula,.is becoming fiercer. The Germans, nontiihstanding heavy losses, are stubbornly attacking different points. The enemy captured some advanced trenches, but our vigorous counter-attacks, usually with the bayonet, forced them to relinquish these.
-Wo occupied Kinipoluhg (.55' -miles south-west of C-tcrtiowsU) on the tith, and havo been continually fighting in the Jlukovtna, during the ht_t week. Wo cavered 120 versis and reached tho mountain rango dividing the Rnkovina from Hungary. We captured a thousand Anstrians and much booty.'*
