Tbo _econd anniversary service, in connexion -with tho Sumner Presbyterian Church were he'd in tho Sumner Town Hal! yesterday. The hall was tastefully decorated with white flowers, and the Rev. J. Paterson (of St. Paul's, Chrisichurch) conducted the morning service, giving* -a appropriate 6_n_on from the Cth chapter of Isaiah, lot verse. In the afternoon a special children's service was conducted by lb* Key. J. Paterson and -__■ A. H. B. Amess, both of whom j****.-*** nhort addrcescs. The children eanjr swcral hymns, and a. large -number of parents and friends were present. Tho evening eervic* wa» conducted by Mr A. H. R- Aniees. At the mornint- wrvi.e solos were eung by Miss Vealiee and Mr Kills, tho latter also Riving another solo at the ovenm-j service. There war.
