Road Board asHxi the Council to erect motor bridges over three.of the largest water-races on the main South road between Rangitata and Orari. The Geraldine Road Hoard sent plans and speHiication« of the promised traffic© -bridge' at Hilton, requesting tho Council to carry out the work, and stating that anph'cation had been tnado .to have the Government grant transferred to the Council. Ifc was resolved -to vote ten guineas to the fund for tho New- Year gift oi' a travelling '•ookor from Canterbury people to tho Expedition-ivy Force. The Board of A-'riculturo's circular regarding noxious w l-iTs was endorsed. It was resolved to s"e for fill outstanding rates without further notice.
