(FRR3S ASSOCIATION TELECRAW.) ASHBUIITON, December 21. At the Police Court io-day, William James Chambers, labourer, of Hampstead, appeared on remand on a charge of having discharged a shotgun at one Peter Stewart so as to cause him actual bodily h3rm. The Bench finally camo to the conclusion that the evidence in support of ihe charge was insufficient, and dismissed the case without prejudice, and with a warning to defendant.
