ASHBURTON.
(Before Messrs H. Davis, T. E. Upton, and 11. Clark, J.P.'e.) James Hay (Mr G. H. Buchanan) was charged with wilfully damaging a taxicab belonging u> Messrs Jackson and Yeatman by throwing a stone and breaking the wind-screen. The Bench inflicted a fine of 20s, with costs, in default, seven days' imprisonment. Accused was aleo ordered to pay 15s, the cost of the damage.
