There was a fair attendance of the public ai the Kangiora market yesterday- i The sheep numbered over 2000, of which about 400 were fat. Fat ewes made 18s lOd to 21s and 2Gs Id, shorn 14s, wethers 21s lid to 2"s 4d, shorn 14s 6d, hoggets 13a to 18s 6d (shorn), 6ix and eighttooth ewes" with lambs 10s to 12s 6d, failing-month ewes with lambs lis Cd, pen of late lambs sold for 18s Id, wether hoggets ISs lid, all-wool hoggets 13s 6d, four-tooth wothors 16s 9d, two and four-tooth 21a Cd. rip, about 250. Baconers 58s to 725, porkers 45s to 50s, store pigs 26s to 325, smaller 7s to 16s. Cattle: About'2oo head were penned. Tat etecrs niado £8 10_ to £11, fat cows £6 10s to £9, eighteen-months to two vc'nrs £2 10s to £3 10s, springers '£8 lOs to £10,
In the produce yards the following prices were recorded: —Heavy crossbred skins 4e 10d to 6s JOd, medium 4s 10d, lighter 3s lid. merino" 2s 8d to 3s 6d, calf 3s, hides 7-2 d. fleece wool Bid, crutchings od, fat lid, horse-hair 9d. Poultry: Roosters 3s 4d to os 3d, hens 3s 9d, ducks 4s. chick-wheat 4s fld, oats 2s Od, partridge peas os, inferior blue peas 3s 6d, grass seed 2s 6d, bran 6s, sharps 10s, wneatmcal 12s, oateheaf chaff straw chaff Is6d, potatoes 4s.
