BOROUGH COUNCILS.
WOOLSTOX.
At last night's meeting of the Woolston. Borough Council there were present: The Mayor (Mr J. J. Graham), Councillors Lilley, A. Mouritford. W. Fuller, L. Hart, and J. B. Richardson. The financial statement disclosed a debit balance on general account of £178 Os 10d, and on temporary loans a debit of £1975 19s sd. and on supplementary public works loan a credit of £105 18s lid. The Works Committee recommended that the widening of Princes street bo gone 6n "with. The Valuation Department vrrote stating that it was not intended to make a re-valuation of the borough in the present unsettled etato of affairs.
