THE LIQUOR QUESTION.
7 TO THE EOITOR OP. "THE PBESS." Sir,—May I be permitted to point out that the Prohibition party in New Zealand is under no misapprehension as to the true nature of the "Moderate" party's origin, and mission. At every election year we have a crop of ' 'liberty" leagues, and ' -freedom" organisations, co called, all of which are obviously , enough the creatures of tho liquor interest. It's the "old firm" under a new name. "The voice is the voice of Jacob, hut the hand is the hand of Esau."—Yours, etc., R. F. WILLIAMS. 141 Bealey avenue.
