"Whilo playing with some companions ou Monday, Malcolm Ashby, a youngster whoso parents retrido a-fc Trafalgar street, Sydenham, fell on the pavement and broke his arm. A lad named Leonard Smith, aged nineteen years, employed in tbo Addlngton Workshops, was seized with a fit yesterday, and was taken, to the Hospital. Shortly afterwards a man named John Jones, residing in Itoorhonse avenue, was admitted to tbo Hospital. He had a eeizure near tho United Service Hotel. Both patieate recovered under treatment. (rRESS ASSOCIATIOV TZLECKAHS.) GISBORNE, July 7. Robert JlcWhirter, who was injured by falling ont of an -up-etairs bedroom tnndow at a country hotel, died in the Hospital. GREYMOTJTH. July 7. . Tho adjourned inquest into the cirCTimEtancee attending the death of Peter Ewart, who was killed by a tramway accident at the Paeroa sawmill on Tuesday last, was resumed this afternoon, before Mr Hewitt, District Coron-2r. A verdict was returned that deceased met his. death by being thrown/roni a runaway truck on -irhich he vras acting as brakcaman.
